In FY23, Aman Gupta’s boAt sold products valued at INR 3,376 Cr.

The forward-thinking consumer electronics business boAt, headed by Aman Gupta, has recorded an astounding turnover of INR 3,376 crores for the fiscal year 2023. The firm, which is well-known for its smartwatches and premium audio goods, has grown rapidly and established a strong market position.

Sales of Audio Products Soar:
The vast array of audio goods that boAt offers, such as speakers, headphones, and earbuds, constitutes its core competency. Customers have responded favorably to the company’s dedication to providing cutting-edge designs and exceptional sound quality. The revenue generated by boAt’s audio products alone reached unprecedented levels in FY23.

Sales of boAt’s smartwatches and audio products exceeded INR 3,000 Cr in the fiscal year that concluded on March 31, 2023. In the fiscal year 2022–2023 (FY23), the company based in Delhi NCR had an 18% increase in operating revenue, from INR 2,873 Cr to INR 3,376.7 Cr.

BoAt was founded in 2015 by Aman Gupta and Sameer Mehta. The company provides wearables and headphones, among other things, in the greater audio and wearables sectors.

From 4.98% in FY22 to -1.6% in FY23, the EBITDA margin declined.

Beginning production of its products in early 2022, boAt states that it has manufactured over 30 million units in India to date (more than 15 million units in FY23). To improve efficiency and create a superior manufacturing environment in India, boAt announced last month that it is in constant collaboration with Indian electronic manufacturing services (EMS) suppliers.

Additionally, boAt and Dixon Technologies established a joint venture last year to design and produce wireless audio solutions in India.
