The heated feud between Gautam Gambhir and Sreesanth is becoming more ambiguous. The two former stars of the Indian cricket team, who won the 2011 ODI World Cup and the 2007 T20 World Cup, got into a brawl during a match in the Legends League Cricket (LLC), a competition for retired players. On Wednesday, the match was taking place in Surat. From the very beginning of the game, tensions between the two players were building. When Sreesanth was hit for boundaries, he gave Gautam Gambhir a lengthy look, and the cricketer returned the favor. Then, the two faced each other once more with considerable rage.
“I haven’t said anything negative or hurtful to him at all. All I said was, ‘Are you saying something? What do you say? The fact that he continued calling me “Fixer, fixer, you are a fixer, F*** off fixer” actually made me laugh sarcastically. This is the terminology that was employed. said Sreesanth.
“When they were trying to control him, he kept on calling me fixer,” said the pacer.
In a previous video, Sreesanth stated that he had battled against things that Gambhir had stated were inappropriate on a cricket pitch and that his family and loved ones had already endured a great deal. Then, in a mysterious tweet, Gambhir replied, allegedly poking fun at Sreesanth by claiming that the pacer was only doing it to garner publicity.
In terms of the game, Gambhir, who was leading the India Capitals, scored fifty runs, while the Gujarat Giants, who were pursuing 224 runs, lost by 12 runs despite fifty-scores from Kevin O’Brien and Chris Gayle.
