Temba Bavuma, the usual captain of Cricket South Africa (CSA), has been rested for the team’s home white-ball series against India beginning on December 10. But in the two-match Test series that begins on December 26, Bavuma will lead the squad.
Aiden Markram will head the T20 and ODI teams against India instead of Bavuma.
South Africa has released their squads. Senior bowler Kagiso Rabada and ODI captain Temba Bavuma have been left out of the Test team but have been included in the white-ball leg of the series.
